Weekend Musings + Marina del Rey Sunset

Marina del Rey Sunset

Hello, happy Saturday, and welcome to my weekend musings. We are getting ready to head out to Hollywood for a friend’s birthday so this is going to be quick.

It has been a very busy and very fulfilling week. On Wednesday we launched the latest version of the Fashion Metric platform. The latest revision is based on feedback from hundred of users and our own analytics and usability studies. We’ve put in a lot of 12+ hour days making the latest version possible and it went live on Wednesday.

With Silicon Beachfest in town we’ve had some pretty epic days going back and forth to different panels and events. Still I’d say on average we’d spend a couple hours at the event but the most of our time back at Fashion Metric HQ working with customers and partners. In this new release we have introduced some new brand partners like Coeur from London and Soxfords from the US.

Lido Shirt by Coeur on Fashion Metric

Coeur is all about the little details, like the fact that many of the shirts have beautiful silk accents which are done at a 250 year-old silk factory in London. Nope, you can’t find these on Amazon or at your local mall, but you can buy them on Fashion Metric and best of all, you can buy with confidence knowing that it will fit.

It has taken eight months to get the Fashion Metric fit technology to where it is today. We have worked with customers, iterated on our platform almost monthly, and continued to push for the best user experience possible. It felt great this week, and at the same time, we know that we are still beginning an exciting journey ahead.

I hope you’re all having a great weekend, off to Hollywood we go!
