Efty adds DAN as a payment method, and domain investors rejoice

Efty and DAN

Back in early August Efty announced they were working on adding support for DAN for payment processing. Well I thought we might be waiting a few months but it’s clear Efty has been rocking full speed ahead and the integration is now complete!

Here’s a quick overview of the newly minted partnership:

Since it’s inception DAN.COM has handled over a whopping $100 million in domain name transactions and is the only marketplace in the domain industry that can handle domain transactions fully automated.

DAN.COM is a fellow Dutch company that launched as Undeveloped.com around the same time Efty came out of beta in 2015. We both exhibited at NamesCon 2016 in Las Vegas from a tiny booth and both companies went on to innovate and gain significant market share in the following years as domain name investors moved away from Pay-per-click parking pages and on to better for-sale landing pages.

At Efty we support DAN.COM’s mission to create a more liquid and efficient domain name aftermarket and we’re excited to make DAN.COM’s frictionless escrow process, speedy payouts, and seller protection available for all Efty users.(Source – Efty blog)

I had the chance to do my first transaction with DAN last week – it was incredibly quick and seamless and the payout was lightning fast. As many of you know I’ve been an Efty user for a long time now, I absolutely love their “for sale” landers, I see this as a slam dunk when it comes to creating a really solid experience for both domain buyers and sellers. Domain Investor Mark Levine also didn’t waste any time getting things switched over:

The icing on the cake with DAN is that they accept Bitcoin as payment, this is looking like an increasingly popular option for domain buyers and anything you can do to make it easier for a buyer to pay, makes it easier for them to make a buying decision.

Congrats to both Efty and DAN, I’m guessing there’s likely some celebrating going on in the Netherlands this week! 🎉
