3 of my favorite features under the hood at Efty

under-the-hood

As many of you know I’m a big fan of Efty and I had the chance to meet Doron (co-founder) in Hong Kong last year and really do a deeper dive into the platform. I can’t remember exactly when I started using Efty but I feel like it was probably around a year ago, and since then I’ve had the chance to really get under the hood and play with all the bells and whistles.

Below are three of my personal favorite features under-the-hood at Efty that I think are valuable for just about any domain investor, i.e. not just me!

Insights –> Inquiries

When someone makes an offer on your domain and you can’t agree on price, that doesn’t mean there is no hope for the deal to ever happen, now might just not be the time. If you aren’t using a platform like Efty, searching through emails from past inquiries usually doesn’t happen. This means that if you don’t close a deal when the inquiry first comes in, you probably never follow up in the future.

If you navigate over to Insights within Efty and then click on Inquiries you’ll see a really nice list of all the inbounds you’ve received. Following up with these leads over time is a great way to unlock sales that you probably didn’t even know were possible. While someone might not have been able to meet your price expectations at the time, things change and following up with past leads is one of the best way to uncover sales opportunities.

Google Analytics integration

One of the slickest features in Efty is the ability to track your for-sale landing pages using your Google Analytics account. As you know Google Analytics provides you with a ton of data that you can use to better understand who is looking at specific domains, you can learn more about how to setup this feature here.

Stripe Integration

Announced just about a month ago, Efty now works with Stripe which means you can completely streamline the process of selling a domain. While I don’t recommend using Stripe for high-value domains, for lower-priced names that you’re looking for more instant liquidity with.

In general, when it comes to sales, the easier you can make it for the buyer, the more likely they are to buy so this is a big win for Efty users IMO. You can read more about this feature on the Efty blog.

Okay, well now you know three of my favorite features under-the-hood at Efty. What are yours? I want to hear from you, comment and let your voice be heard!
