Two online businesses that caught my eye on Flippa this week

Hello and happy Sunday! You might notice this post is two days later than I normally write it. I’m trying out my regular Flippa Friday on a Sunday because I think Friday night most people are probably out and about, or even if you’re home, you’re probably not reading blogs. Sunday night is usually when I start to gear up for the week, I check my email, review my calendar, and typically read a few blogs myself, so if you’re like me, this might be a better day for this series.

The format here is the same thought so no big changes there! I went through Flippa and found two online businesses that caught my eye that I thought could make good investments. Of course, like any investment, proper due diligence is critical and you can do it yourself or let the pros over at Flippa do it for you with their own service, which you can always read more about in this article I wrote about it late last year.

Okay, enough with the preamble, let’s get to the good stuff! Below are two online businesses currently listed on Flippa that I think are worth taking a look at 👀

Zuitte Flippa

First up today is a SaaS business called Zuitte that looks like it has done the rounds on a lot of popular publications like NBC News and Business Insider. The business is currently generating $3,456/mo in profit which seems like a nice little business. The business has only been around for a year and my guess is the owner was hoping to really watch this scale and when it didn’t, they probably decided to move onto something else and put this up for sale.

The listing says the business comes with over 10,000 followers on social media and 4,000 email subscribers so it feels like there’s a nice foundation here to build on. I would probably want to ask the owner why they’re selling since it’s a relatively new business and the seller doesn’t seem to have sold anything on Flippa before. I would also take a look at some of the articles that were written about it and try to research the launch and general evolution of the business to really try to assess how much growth potential there is.

Wordpress Theme Site Flippa

As you probably know by now, sites that have been around for a while tend to catch my eye more than others because you have some real history to look back on. This online business might not be generating a ton of revenue but its been around for nine years and it’s in a very popular niche – WordPress themes.

The company selling this business has a solid track record on Flippa with 100% positive feedback over 27 transactions totaling $346,497. This is one of those sites that you can probably trust the revenue numbers because the seller has a long history of sales on Flippa and they aren’t claiming a number that seems ridiculously high. My two concerns with this site would be the one obvious question – why only $600/mo in profit after almost a decade running the site? And my second question is would be related to the first – is the WordPress themes market just too darn crowded?

Okay, that’s a wrap – thanks for reading and have a great week!
