Okay – so first I have to say this. I’ve been wanting to use the word “Bonanza” in a post title for a long time now, so this is satisfying! Bonanza means – a source of great and sudden wealth or luck; a spectacular windfall and that’s exactly what I’m doing this month, and every month going forward.
So what the heck am I doing? Each month I will offer one of my domains with a Minisite for sale! I thought this would be a great way to help new domainers get a pre-built, SEO optimized mini-site along with a great Domain name to go with it! On top of selling the domain and mini-site the buyer will also receive a free copy of my book Domain Flipping: How to Profit from the Domain Name Boom (which sells for $50) and a free 128×128 ad slot on my blog for a month (which also sells for $50!).
The idea here is simple. Everyone is trying to sell domains or mini-site development services. I thought it would be a good idea to bundle the two together and make a package that will ensure that the buyer not only gets a great domain but also gets a great site, education, and promotion all in one! To kick-off this monthly event I have a domain near and dear to my heart – TaxRebateChecks.us. This site already ranks #5 in Yahoo when searching for “2009 tax rebate checks” (first page no scrolling!). The site has Google Adsense and Amazon books for monetization and includes targeted video content from YouTube!
