This is most-likely going to be my shortest weekend musing ever as today is Daina’s 30th Birthday and we are celebrating it here in New York City, possibly the best place on the planet for a 30th Birthday party, right?
We spent the week in New York with an absolutely insane meeting schedule going from morning until night Weds, Thurs, and Friday. On this trip we met with other fashion tech companies, investors, PR/marketing people, and some of our NYC-based alpha customers. I find that we get a lot done during our New York trips but they can be incredibly exhausting.
That being said we packed what would have been probably a month’s worth of meetings into three days, and while my voice is almost completely gone, it sure was worth it!
Above is a panoramic picture I took of the ice skating rink at Rockafeller Center on our way from one meeting to another yesterday. This is one thing I love about NYC, between meetings you get to see things like this that make you stop and really appreciate what an awesome city New York is!
Tonight we’re having dinner and seeing some Jazz in the West Village and then off to a club for the official 30th Birthday spectacular! I hope you’re all having a great weekend!
