Hello and welcome to another weekend musing here on MorganLinton.com. We have had a great start to the day with an awesome rollerblading adventure along the coast to Venice. Daina and I have friends in from out of town so they grabbed the beach cruisers while we rollerbladed alongside. Incredible day, already in the 80’s and could be 90+ this afternoon.
We found a great vegetarian spot in Venice that we’ve enjoyed eating at lately and took our meals over to the skateboard park on the beach to watch people much more daring than myself while I watch from a distance.
This weekend is Daina’s best friend’s 30th Birthday so we’re doing throwing a party here during the day and then off to Hermosa beach for the evening.
Next week we are continuing our alpha testing we are running with Fashion Metric and refining the data that we’ll feed into the algorithm for our beta release. I’ve had a number of people tell me they want to be a part of the beta, initially it will be invite-only and a very small group but you can put yourself on the list at beta.fashionmetric.com if you’d like to stay in the loop.
On the Domaining-front this was a great week for both sales and purchases, bought a few great one-word .COMs and the team has been working hard on our development projects and a few big end-user sales we’re wrapping up this month. Looks like we’ll hit about $20K in purchases this month and I’m very happy with what we’ve bought. Not sharing these publicly but if you’re dying to know you’re welcome to email me and I’ll share a few with you.
Okay, time to pick up food for the BBQ, it’s a beautiful day and people will be getting here in less than two hours! Hope you’re all having a great weekend!
