Hello, happy Saturday, and welcome to another weekend musings here on MorganLinton.com. This has been our first weekend day in our new place and our first order of business was to get on our bikes at hit the beach. We live on the marina about two minutes from the ocean so we plan on spending a lot of time outside. This also marks our first weekend where we don’t have to spend every moment possible working, that’s right, our life now finally has balance!
I guess this is what happens when you take-away 8-10 hours of daily obligations and move your business from nights and weekends to weekdays. It feels great, we are more relaxed than ever yet at the same time more focused and driven than ever. Most importantly, we get to spend way more time together which was priority #1 for us.
Today our plan is to finally continue unpacking which was cut short as we moved and then went right to Florida for TRAFFIC. Then we’ll be reading some of our new favorite fashion blogs, meeting with our developer (over mimosas) and then heading out in Venice Beach tonight for dinner/drinks.
Yesterday we both got the new iPhone 5, I decided to go with the 64 GB version since I take so many photos and videos and am sick of running out of space…something tells me though somehow I’ll find a way. I have to say I am really impressed with the new iPhone, not only is it lightning fast but the larger screen is awesome, the new charger is slick and the speakers sound a million times better. Couple this with the fact that I can now finally take pictures while I’m recording a video and I’m a happy camper.
I am continuing to add new faces to Linton Investments and currently have a few job opening available if you, or someone you know is interested in joining the team, these are:
- HTML/CSS Developer (looking for someone who knows CSS like the back of their hand)
- Social Media Specialist (reporting to our Social Media Manager)
- Blogger(s) (ccTLDInvestors.com – must have experience with ccTLDs, BlogAboutWine.com – must have experience in the wine industry)
- Domain Sales Specialist (must have experience selling domains)
This will bring the team up to 18 which is pretty amazing to see! I used to hire from sites like oDesk but had so many quality problems that I finally decided to focus on hiring based on recommendations from friends. If you know anyone please send them my way.And with that it’s time to head out on the balcony with a cup of coffee and relax, it’s Saturday and unlike most Saturdays for the last eight years, this is a day off!
