Sneaky Vampires announces staking, introduces $BLOOD token

Last night the Sneaky Vampire Syndicate Discord was on fire after the team announced a major addition to the project – staking, and with it, $BLOOD. The news came alongside an update about calling off their Mint Pass which I’m sure was a tricky decision to make but it’s clear the community completely understood.

Rather than explaining the details of the new staking mechanic I thought I’d share all the details from the Discord, so here you go:

Sneaky Vampire Syndicate Staking

If you’re not familiar with the concept of staking it’s pretty simple, and also very powerful for NFT owners. Staking simple means locking up your NFT for a certain period of time and getting tokens in exchange for doing it. Given how detailed-oriented the team at Sneaky Vampire Syndicate is I’m also expecting to see one of the most elegant staking implementations yet.

I’d say within twenty seconds of the announcement the Discord just went crazy with excitement, it was a lot of fun, and the vibe has been amazing ever since. For those who don’t know much about Sneaky Vampire Syndicate it’s a pretty incredible project and one of the NFTs I think is going to continue to be one of my favorites in my own portfolio. The artist for SVS is Mig, who is also one of the artists from Bored Ape Yacht Club and the Lead Developer, woof, is one of the most talented minds in the NFT space IMHO.

I was really impressed with how far SVS went to make their minting process fair and bot free and did a little interview with woof about it on NFT Investing.io if you want to learn more.

Of course, I also just love the art and really love my vamps – my favorite you ask? This zombie gold tux:

Congrats to the whole Sneaky Vampire Team, I think I speak for all everyone else in the vamp fam when I say, we’re hungry for $BLOOD!
