Flippa Friday: Tasks.com, DomainInvesting.tv, WPMarket.com

Hello, happy Friday and welcome to Flippa Friday here on MorganLinton.com! Some pretty stellar names were added to Flippa over the last week and I think it is very safe to say that with the addition of the Domain Catalog Flippa is now one of the most active domain marketplaces.

One thing I’ve really liked seeing evolve over the years is the tight integration with Escrow.com. I have used Escrow.com for years and they are the only company I trust with my domain transactions. It’s nice to have a little checkbox appear when you’re listing an auction to push it to Escrow.com for sales below $5,000 as well as above $5,000 (which is the default). Now onto my top picks for this week!

Tasks.com – solid, meaningful five letter .COM. This is a monster name and I think we’ll see bidding drive the price a lot higher over the next 27 days but without a doubt there is both development and flip potential here.

DomainInvesting.tv – you couldn’t find a much better domain name for a video blog or course dedicated to Domain Investing. This is one of my own names and after years of thinking I would build it out I realized I don’t have the time and I’d rather release it into the wild so someone else can do something great with it.

WPMarket.com – in case you missed the memo, WordPress is one of the fastest growing platforms for building websites in the world. There is a huge market (some pun intended) for selling WordPress themes and plugins and given that most people think of “WP” as being short for WordPress this is a nice name for a WordPress-related marketplace.

VisitRome.com – I have talked about this name before and I still love it just as much. The Visit(CityName).com domains are used all over the world for go-to city guide sites. The name was registered back in 1998 so it also has some very nice age to it, good flip or development candidate.

Clap.io – short, brandable, one-word .IO. The nice thing about .IO domains is that they are great for anything that is developer-facing and they sell for a heck of a lot less than what the corresponding .COM would. Solid name, easy to remember and spell.

NearestRestaurants.com – companies like FourSquare and Path are fighting to become the go-to app for doing just this, finding the nearest restaurant, bar, etc.
