Domain Of The Day: CodeKit.com

Okay, I’ll start by saying I have a terrible track-record doing series posts that happen daily, but given how short this one will be each week I think I might just be able to pull it off. Since we all tend to see a LOT of domains on a daily basis I thought I’d highlight a different domain that has caught my eye each weekday. I welcome other to share their thoughts about the name and we can all guess what price it will go for in the end. Sound like fun? If so, let me know, if not, let me know too!

CodeKit.com

First things first, I think this is a great brand name, easy to remember, easy to spell, simple. Originally registered in 2004 this domain has some nice age to it, I never like buying names that were hand registered this year, but maybe that’s just me.

I don’t think this name would make a great flip candidate, too hard to sell someone on a specific brand name. I do think that it would be great for a startup or entrepreneur who wants to build an e-product around coding. Still it’s a hard space to break-into with players like Udemy and Coursera so you’d definitely have to know what you’re doing.

I think it’s worth between $500 – $1,000, what do you think?
