You don’t see this everyday on Sedo Auctions

Most of the time when someone gets a good offer and sends it to auction at Sedo it just sits there for a week. Unless the name is something that is liquid like a LLL.com or 3 character.com you usually just have the end user offer have to wait a week to purchase the domain. This is especially true when the initial offer is in the five figure range.

Today Lovoo.com closed at 19,000 Euros. The name went to auction and as usual the initial bidder, bidder1, made an offer of 14,000 Euros and the owner pushed to auction. The name was closing today after just sitting there for a week. Now here comes bidder 2 and then bidder 3. Bidder 3 won the name. Did they get in front of bidder 1 thinking they would pay up once they learned they did not get the name ?

LOVOO is by far the most popular and innovative flirt iOS and Android app worldwide. It combines state of the art mobile technologies with sexy and gripping language. That was according to a post done by English-Team.com that interviewed the founder last year. You can read that here where the founder talks about why they changed from Kiss2go to Lovoo.

Lovoo runs on a .net. Now it will be interesting to see if bidder 3 was a competitor or a domainer that is hoping that Lovoo will pay higher than 19,000 Euros.
